Sponsored content disclosure

Effective date: March 1, 2026

Impulsblog publishes a mix of editorial content and commercial content. This page explains how commercial content works on the site and how it is labeled.

What commercial content looks like on Impulsblog

  • Sponsored features: Long-form articles written to Impulsblog editorial standard on a topic agreed with a brand partner. Labeled “Sponsored” at the top of the article.
  • Interview profiles: Long-form Q&As or interview-led features placed by the subject or their agency. Labeled “Partner content” or “Sponsored interview” at the top of the article.
  • Contributor articles: Articles submitted by writers, founders, or agencies as paid placements. These carry a standard byline. Where the contributor has a disclosed commercial relationship to the topic, that relationship is noted in or beneath the byline.
  • Category placements: Ongoing monthly placements by a brand partner in a specific section. Individual articles are labeled as contributor articles or sponsored features as appropriate.

Editorial standard for commercial content

All commercial content on Impulsblog goes through editorial review before publication. The editorial team edits for clarity, accuracy, and tone. Pieces that read as promotional copy without substance are revised before they run. Payment does not guarantee publication. It buys editorial review and publication of work that meets the standard.

Links in commercial content

Links included in sponsored features and contributor articles are disclosed as part of the commercial arrangement. Affiliate links, where used, are labeled.

Editorial independence

Commercial relationships do not influence editorial coverage. Brands that partner with Impulsblog do not receive favorable editorial treatment in non-commercial articles.
