Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Impulsblog is reader-supported. Some links to products such as VPNs, antivirus software and password managers are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, the provider may pay Impulsblog a commission. You pay the same price either way.

How this affects the reviews

  • Every product is judged on the criteria described in How We Review, whether or not it has an affiliate program.
  • Providers can’t pay for a higher ranking, a better verdict or the removal of criticism.
  • We include free and built-in options (for example, Microsoft Defender or free password-manager tiers) when they’re the better choice, even though they earn nothing.
  • Pages with affiliate links carry a short disclosure at the top, before the first link.

Current status

As of November 2, 2026, product links on Impulsblog go directly to the provider’s own website and are not tracked affiliate links. As affiliate programs approve the site, some of those links will be replaced with tracked links. The disclosure at the top of each page covers both cases.

Sponsored content

We don’t publish paid reviews of VPN, antivirus or password-manager products. If we ever accept a sponsorship, it will be labeled “Sponsored” at the top of the article.
